I feel for those activists who have spent a fortnight making their points about climate change, in Glasgow. However, they have been used by the system and the lackeys of the system – the media. Nothing will change in the world in time for climate improvement until the wishes of the oil sheikhs and moguls are ignored. Talking about eating less meat, recycling more assiduously, even changing to electric vehicles are nibbling around the edges of the huge problem that is climate change.Logically, to put a hold on climate change there needs to be a complete cessation of the use of fossil fuels of all types and as soon as possible.

So the talking shop is over,
must cost millions the media to cover,
do we know what has been achieved,
will the Earth be relieved.
Delegates jetting around the world,
in their Leah and limousine dreamworld,
supposedly solving climate woes,
succeeding – from what we read no one knows.
The bottom line seems to be,
that people of Earth must wait and see,
will the trees be left alone,
will green energy be the business grown.
Or will fear of losing win the day,
of losing their billions stand in the way,
of making the necessary green progress,
helping make the climate warm less.
So we look forward another year,
Cop 27 will be an opportunity clear,
for the leaders to try once again,
to move to ease the planet’s pain.
